Youth Week Activities
Our annual Youth Week will be held June16 - June 22. The week will be filled with inspiration, recognition, fun, and celebration! The Theme is “Be Strong & Courageous” Joshua 1:9. All youth are welcome to participate in some or all of the festivities but sign-up is required. The fee for the entire week is $20 per child and includes a t-shirt and all activities. Please note the following planned activities:
Monday 06/16 – Fellowship dinner at Culvers in Clayton at 6:30pm. Bring your youth to enjoy fellowship one with another! Pickup at 8pm.
Wednesday 06/18 – Peer Pressure Workshop / Forum @ 6:30pm. Join us for an informative and engaging session on the impacts of peer pressure and how to deal with it. There will be a session for adults as well as breakout sessions for youth. The community is invited to attend.
Friday 06/20 - Family fun day at the Clayton Municipal park (4-7pm). LET’S HAVE SOME FUN! Come out and enjoy a variety of games (sack race, basketball, water fun, tug-of-war) and more. Asking families to come out with their youth and join in on the games.
Sunday 06/22 - The 4th Sunday will culminate the week with our annual Youth & Graduation Day service during morning worship. We invite all youth to participate in some way (choir, usher, or program). Join us at our 10am morning worship service where we will recognize our youth. Seniors and college graduates please join us for the cap and gown processional.
