About Us

New Trinity Missionary Baptist Church was established in 1984 under the leadership of Luther Coppedge. God is continuing to bless this growing congregation through our current pastor, Dr. Alvin D. Thompson, Sr.

New Trinity is located in the heart of Clayton, NC at the corner of S. Robertson and Main Street.

We are affiliated with the Wake Association of the General Baptist State Convention of North Carolina (GBSC).

Commitment to Service
New Trinity is committed to going beyond our four walls and serving the community in which God has placed it. We currently operate the largest Food Bank ministry in Johnston country and serve well over 300,000 a year.

In 2004, New Trinity established the 2nd Street Community Center which currently operates a Kid's Cafe' afterschool program. We provide extensive outreach to the needy through in house ministries as well as through partnership with the Clayton Police Department.
